Everyday Icons

About this collection

Everyday Icons is a general vocabulary of recognizable objects: cats, dogs and foxes; pizza, pancakes and apples; suns, tornadoes and comets; keys, pencils and umbrellas; hearts, stars and crowns. The icons folder draws each subject with full shading and detail, while the plain folder repeats the roster in a flatter, simpler style that works at small sizes for match-3 tiles, memory games, word games and learning apps. Every file is a 200×200 transparent PNG. Free for commercial use, no attribution required.

How to use these Everyday Icons sprites

Everyday Icons is 284 icons, drawn to share a palette and canvas size. It's split into plain and icons, so you can pull just the part you need. banana flat and bat flat are in there. Every file is a transparent PNG, free for commercial use with no attribution.

Engine tips

Keep icons on integer scales (1x, 2x, 3x) and snap them to whole pixels, or the outlines shimmer. In Unity set Pixels Per Unit to match your grid and disable mipmaps for UI atlases; in Godot use a CanvasLayer so icons never inherit world-camera zoom.
